Can You Ever Just Be...Whelmed?

We are completely amazed at the amount of attention we have had today. We sincerely appreciate it.

We want to know about you! Who are you? Are you working on a project of your own? Are we your new favorite people? Do you only come for pictures of Nate's butt? Tell us a bit about you and we promise to be the best broke ass people you've ever (kind of) met.

pppssttt. over here! did you know you can also hang out with us on facebook and twitter?

  1. Hey guys. I found you through Young House Love. I live in Northern MN. I have a 12 year old, a two, year old, one on the way, a crazy black lab and a loving husband (who is handy man challenged). I do pretty much all of the household repairs, redecorating, diy-ing that I can or else I call in my dad who is a carpenter. I am currently working on my 2 year old's bedroom makeover. I can send you the results when I'm done if you'd like! I do have a blog but never post on it as I am usually a little overwhelmed. Good to find you. I look forward to following your projects and getting inspiration!

  2. Hi broke-ass-people!

I'm a fellow blogger lookin to make friends. I'm really good at being awkward. I found you through a YHL comment. That John and Sherry... bringing people together. I am totes enjoying looking around. I like what you've done with the place. I'm sending you love from SLC, UT. Me and Mr Kenz are really good at tearing walls down fast and building them back slow. You have an open invitation to come and be loud over on my blog anytime you'd like.
    Cheers!

  5. I found you clicking around on YHL comments, too. I just started a house blog of my own a few weeks ago, and I've been a little obsessed with reading other people's since way before then. Cute dogs seal the deal for me ;)

  7. .... I'm only here for Nate's butt and flannel jammies... :) But seriously I am sooo happy that I can see my best friend being productive from hundreds of miles away. I also have this feeling that if you didn't have blog obligations some projects may just stay unfinished.. I am so proud of this broke ass couple

  8. I'm another that followed the link from YHL, but anything to do with flannel pajamas works for me.

I have really enjoyed reading through this blog, as it is so similar to what my husband and I are going through right now with preparing to close on our first home. Mind you, we started the house search around April and have had one setback after another. At this point we'll be Pretty Damn Broke after closing, but it's nice to know things can turn out just fine anyway!
