Two Months

And then she was two months old. Cause, holy crap, when did that happen?

We have been having a pretty hard time. Callie has been having a hard time gaining weight, so we have been going to doctor's appointments about twice a week. We have done everything from lactation appointments to LLL meetings, to allergy tests, to all day nurse-a-thons. She seems to be doing better now, as we have gained over a pound in the last two weeks. FINALLY. But, here she is, in all her finally above birth weight glory.

  1. Aww, hang in there kiddo :)

  2. glad she's finally starting to gain weight! love love love that cutie!

  3. Wonderful, I'm so glad you all seem to be over the hump! Having a newborn is hard enough, without adding in weight gain issues. She is a beautiful little girl, and I love the picture with her yellow diaper on the matching fabric. I am just curious, does she have reflux or GERD? Something about the way she's arching her neck in the FB picture made me wonder.

    1. Thank you! She was tested for both but got worse with treatment so the doctors decided it was better to leave it be. In that picture her and I were actually talking about how dogs say ooooo and she would oooo back. Had to get a pic of it :)

  4. My son had a hard time gaining weight too. Glad that she's finally started! She's adorable. :)

  5. love that little face! adorable!

  6. Hang in there! I have learned (in my 5 months as a mom lol) you will conquer this problem and a new one will replace it. No sleeping, no napping, how do we feed this kid, etc :) parenthood!

  7. As a parent of a 21 year old who as a newborn, was a fussy eater and NEVER was on the percentile charts for weight- don't worry about it! The more you stress, the more the baby stresses out and it becomes this vicious cycle of stress. Do your part and she will eat, she will gain weight. Enjoy this time as they GROW UP SO FAST. Seriously-you think the last two months have passed quickly and that's how I feel about the last 21 years. Can't believe I have a kid that old!
